I'm just befuddled by the behavior of the millennial's on spring break like there's no tomorrow. What are the Florida officials thinking allowing that behavior to continue and put the rest of the country in danger. They don't think young people can pass the virus when they get back home?
Forget blocking incoming people from Italy, China Mexico and other foreign countries, the USA should quarantine all Spring Break party animals for fifteen days in place until they can be deemed safe for other states.
I've been locked up for 12 days voluntarily because of my family's concerns about the possible spread of the virus from my riders to them.

I see almost all states taking this disaster and this killer seriously, then I see Florida.

Nothing to be proud of for sure

You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Do some real research and get some facts about Florida's response to covid-19.

And, when you clean up your problem of drug addicts shitting on your sidewalks, let us know so we can visit "The Golden State" again sometime in the future.

So everything I see from your state is wrong? And that sparks that kind of barrage? Please don't come to California.

No, you are right about Florida for the most part. Just read through a few of the threads here. There are actually people here that have fallen for the Trump con. There's very little intelligence here unfortunately. But the weather's nice...

just think that in 10 or 15 years some of those spring breakers might be members of congress somewhere across the USA, because most of the spring breakers were from Michigan, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and California just to name a few states.... I've lived here in Fort Lauderdale 6 years and I've seen it every years.....and by the way beaches have been closed all week here including Lauderdale by the Sea....but the kids go to WinnDixie or Publix and buy their food and drink and party at the hotel pool.....

In retrospect, I owe Jim an apology. I may have been a bit harsh in my assessment. I was just reacting to what I've been seeing and hearing from those party fools. I've been to Miami and I loved the whole vibe, especially Key West. I'm not saying my state has it right, but what I saw on those beaches was just plain wrong. Been to our very popular beaches here and they're a ghost town compared to normal days.
Once again, I didn't mean to broad brush the entire state or the people of Florida.

No harm, no foul. Stay safe, Lou.

Well it is about the same type of stupid is driving around right now as a Uber or Lyft driver for a little next to nothing and possibly contracting or spreading or both and getting sick.
No matter how desperate I can't imagine what moron would be out on the road right now driving.

Morons who don't want to be homeless and want to keep the lights on and be able to feed their families and pay the hospital bills.

If you can pay your bills with the peanuts you're getting from Uber now, power to you.

But I really don't understand why you're going out every day pushing a rope when there are lots of jobs out there that will pay you over $10 an hour without the need for any skills. You can always do that for a month or two and then go back to Uncle Uber.

Well, to be fair, you meet more people in a grocery store than during an average day on Uber today.
