Well, it seems Uber has been bombarding some of its valued clients lately with unsolicited phone calls... I got a phone call this morning from the UBER number and as I answered I get this pissed off guy with a British accent instructing me to remove his number from my calling list.
It's been quite a few days since I turned on the Uber App. but I remember picking this guy up at the Airport because of his accent. So after I explained to him that somehow his call was transferred to me by the Uber system "by mistake" and that I had nothing to do with the calls he's been receiving form them, it dawned on me that when they call a pax from the Uber offices, on their caller ID they see the same number that we all see in our region, so when the pax tries to call them back, guess what happens? the call gets forwarded to the last driver they dealt with even if its been a few days.
Isn't too much technology a beautiful thing???
