What if I've already applied for JobSeeker? Or I'm entitled to both?
The Federal Government has encouraged Australians not to withdraw their applications for Centrelink benefits, if they think they're eligible for wage subsidies instead.

Assistant Treasurer Michael Sukkar said the Government would work out which one they should receive.

"The ATO, Services Australia, where there are applications for both, obviously work out administrative arrangements to ensure that those individuals get the JobKeeper payment," he said.

"And at that point in time, all of the other applications will be removed.

"So, I would caution them not to withdraw an application at this point in time."

You can't be paid both JobSeeker and JobKeeper - it's one or the other ya KnobKeepers.

Well I've been crunching the numbers and let's be honest for a normal employee, there is literally $250 approx difference between the payments. So if someone has there employment terminated, they are entitled to jobseeker at a payment of $1160 gross (that includes bonus subsidy) so $1150 net. Or there is option for job keepers which is $1500 gross minus tax so realistically $1300 approx and the person still has to work but will have job security when this is all over. Job keepers realistically only gonna be benificial for those whom work 2 days a week at roughly $30p/h, anyone else and job keepers is pointless and only beneficial to the company and not the employee.

it's one or the other and Only your accountant can advise you which you can get.
Wrong. Sammy_102 can also advise everyone.
And if you don't follow her advice, you'll be put to work repairing a 5 acres perimeter fence in Ballarat.

5 acres lol? Don't know know where you got that but there is a hell lot more then 5 acres.
Oooooh, you've done it now.

you can take the rise out of hubby, you can joke about Sammy's tax advice, but woe befall anyone who underestimates the size of their block of land.

Refer to it as 'acreage', that's the safest way to avoid offending one of our true blue landowners, pal.

Lol, how did I know someone would make that assumption. So I deliberately lit a fire 10km away and prayed that my property would be in direct line. Funny thing is, Fire was set to avoid my property but a late wind change occurred. Geeze I must be good if I can get Mother Nature on board
Gee the fish are biting hard today, sounds like an insurance job = fences getting done by contractors being paid by your insurance company
