I was chatting with my partner today (who is a massive Uber customer fan).
M: How many people in your office (of about 40 staff) use UberX?
P: Everyone. No one catches cabs any more.
M: What? Everyone?
P: Yep, don't forget Concur (corporate expense tracking software, part of SAP) has integration to Uber so any Uber receipts automatically show up in our expense reports. So there's no fumbling around with lost taxi receipts stuffed in your pocket when you get out of the cab and then forget to claim and then you have to remember to add to the expense report. The Uber-Concur connection does it all.
The "network effect" on demand of this kind of integration is huge.
Lesson learned: park outside offices of companies that use Concur!
How: ask your corporate looking type customers if they use Concur...
Geek out!
