As a p/t driver, I enjoy grabbing a few surge rides. I don't care if they are long, or short. I'll take them all. 100% completion rate.....

Now, the only pings I get are pool, or short rides........

Seriously, you chose pool for a 7 block ride....

I guess Uber has so many drivers that people who actually know how to drive no longer count.....

I do this p/t, so I'll love to see you crash and burn........

For some reason Uber wants to burn through all its investors money by subsidizing drivers to drive full time, as opposed to letting it surge so they get payed too. It is what it is. At his point you probably have to commit to drive 40+ hours a week or not at all. Doesn't really make sense to do otherwise with conditions as they currently are.

I would agree that it definitely takes full time to do legitimate 75 rides to get platinum.

You realize that for pool the pax pays a flat fee based on initial destination. So you are either shafting Uber or yourself when you do this. I am not sure which.

Only big difference is 5 cents less a mile and 4 cents less a minute and can't manually enter new addresses on pool.
