Ok here's the fare...

4.4 miles x .8 cents/mile = 3.52
12 minutes x 11 cents/min = 1.32
Add 1 dollar base fare and you get total fare 5.84...5.84 commissioned at 25% brings it to 4.38

That's what I should've got...but I was paid much more...it happened twice and both times it was when I had to deadhead a few miles to pick up pax...I'm not complaining by any means about the extra money but does anybody know the reason why? An error twice or did they change something?

Is there a chance you were paid UBER SELECT rate? If you use a new car, it might be classed as UberSelect. Happened to me last month after registering my new car with UBER.

I wasn't using a new car though...the weird thing is it only happened on the calls I had to deadhead quite a bit to pick them up...other calls that were close the fares were calculated as they should be

Has this happened to anyone? Long deadhead to pick up pax and get more than calculated fare?

Well I found out why I got paid this....they counted me as uberxl. Funny thing is I have a trailblazer that only seats 4 not 6 and I have always been uberx...there must be some kind of glitch...I'll take the extra cash though I'm not complaining...
