I have a NYC account. After purchasing my new SUV, a friend told me to sign the car up to drive in NYC SUBURBS because there was up to $300 sign on bonus. Similarly to my NYC account after completing a certain number of trips.. then was 20- i would receive a guaranteed amount (then was $500).

Uber is now telling me that after i complete the required number of trips on long island (30) that i would receive $275. Now they are telling me that it is actually a guaranteed amount of $275 if i did not reach $275 by 30 trips that they would pay the difference.

Because I made $415 after 30 trips I do no qualify to receive the supposed sign on bonus. this is BOGUS.

Is this true? Can someone from here confirm this?

has someone here done the required 30 trips and was paid their trip bonus?

I'm surprised at this point they are even offering a sign on bonus. Except from your story, it seems like they arent Lol. So what you got was a 'guarantee' not a 'bonus' .
Remember, always read the fine print with uber bonus/guarantee/boost/quest whatever they offer.

The $300 for 30 trip was the bonus back in July. They keep changing the bonus amounts and terms depending on the demand of rides and supply of drivers.

After my 1st 30 trips i made $202 and they gave me $73. and that was it.
