I have ran into a few drivers that were coming out to SF and not getting incentives. I have always informed them to switch cities.
Yea. I changed my city before I tried driving down there. Then wondered why I wasn't getting PDB and Greenlight told me to drive and wait a week.

Also have an acrylic tip box it's black do you can't see the $$. But I never set it up. Partly because nothing sticks to my interior dash material partly cause of pride.

Probably too dumb to change his city. A lot of folks are. For example, the people that fall for the Pswd scam.

Or a liar
Everyone who doesn't happen to know about Uber things that you happen to have known about is dumb.

No everyone that in 2017 that thinks Uber is calling them or giving them a fake website to put their password into is dumb or everyone that doesn't do research to find out how they get incentives are dumb.

Technology for all this is in every pocket now. No excuse to not know something this simple.

Dumb: lacking intelligence

Intelligence: a (1) : the ability to learn or understand or to deal with new or trying situations : reason; also: the skilled use of reason (2) : the ability to apply knowledge to manipulate one's environment or to think abstractly as measured by objective criteria

Not an insult. As defined by what dumb is the person that does not simply sign up for SF or fall for phishing scams lacks the ability to learn or understand or deal with new or trying situations.

The driver told me he emailed, called, even drove to the Daly City hub to complain.

But he's trying to find a way to say he's a resident of the bay vs from Stockton.
He drives 6 days a week and stays with a friend during the time he's here in the bay.
He was also trying to set up a referral for another driving service called WINGS. I guess its an exclusive airport rideshare thing.

That's weird cause I and many others from outside the city didn't have to prove we were from the city. I don't know he might have played you. I tell my PAX all kinds of crazy stories and things about me that aren't true. Makes it fun. Lol.

"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him."

Disinformation is intentionally false or misleading information that is spread in a calculated way to deceive target audiences. The English word, which did not appear in dictionaries until the late-1980s, is a translation of the Russian дезинформация, transliterated as dezinformatsiya. Disinformation is different from misinformation, which is information that is unintentionally false. Misinformation can be used to define disinformation - where disinformation is misinformation that is purposefully and intentionally disseminated in order to deceive.

I drive, and yes

I take Uber.

Driver comes from Stockton to drive in the bay and he DOES NOT receive any incentives. He already told me he's at 200 rides for the week.
Gave him a tip (like with all my Uber rides) and wished him luck for the rest of the weekend.
I just throw seed money in a cup holder. The pan handlers on every corner at every light notice it from 100 yards. . . not sure about the passengers. But in New Orleans,I get some good Street musicians . . .

I would clear out most of that money. If you see a lot of money in there, that would deter me from tipping. That is what homeless people do.

Holy crap Uberdancer you broke into a whole different Sun Tzu character on that post. I thought you were fairly benign until this shit. That's pretty dark don't you think?

If you want to do the tip box go ahead but I've asked more than one Uber employee about it. They both said it's not in the terms of servitude, and could lead to deactivation, but neither of them had any inclination to report it.

If you are poor,
Make the Passenger feel poor.
