After dealing with Uber “support” dozens of times, and every time, being shockingly disappointed over how absolutely brain-dead bad it is, i’m starting to wonder if the support isnt actually outsourced to Rohit in India, but is instead, a poorly crafted, brain-damaged attempt at artificial intelligence?

Think about it.. It seems that it always picks up on one or two key-words and reacts to those, usually when it has nothing to do with the actual problem... Even after multiple back-and forth emails, it literally seems like a retarted 6 year old is at the other end, just randomly banging keys on the keyboard - I swear, even Rohit is smarter than this!

I have never EVER, EVERRR seen support so ridiculously useless and ******ed before anywhere, in any industry.. Is it possible that Uber, the “technology company” has replaced Rohit with an A.I. Support program and has failed at that as badly as it has failed at turning a profit??

In theory, "Rohit" is probably supposed to scan it over prior to sending the canned response (which he's probably also supposed to review to ensure that the response matches and answers the question). In reality, the canned response is sent out without ever being read, and yes I think it picks up on key words in the message as well as the subject chosen and uses it to choose said canned response. Rohit probably still has to push a button to work the magic though.

Wall 2:

Wall 4:
Senior Specialist Bossman Rajeev w/ tailored templates

I don't think anyone can be that stupid if they tried and the first few messages are bots

I also think after 5 replies they can ignore you and keep hitting the RESOLVED button and it doesn't affect their rating lol

You know, now that you mention it, this would explain a lot of recent bizarre customer support incidents I've had, outside of ridesharing...

...the looooong pauses for no apparent reason, the answers to questions which had nothing to do with what I was asking....
