Uber is not worth it anymore. The first 25 hours he could earn 35/hr. After that, the earning average will decline. For this year I've only done less than 10 trips. I've switched profession and it is the best decision I had ever made.

Every year it gets worse and worser.

10 whole rides. Guess she can be an expert on income. Glad seriously you got another job.

I have been an uber/lyft driver for 6-7 years. This year I've quit uber/lyft and focus on my new profession-- stock investor. I am a strategic thinker by natural so I apply that skill to stock trading and I have made more money than many years of my uber income combined. If I am using this strategy several years ago, I would have been a rich guy by now. I think I have spend most of last year (countless of months and hours) to formulate a trading strategy that works for me.

After seeing so many new millionaire every year, I know life can be much easier than working for uber and W2 job. my thinking is why not try it. I am 100% sure they didn't get there by saving every penny up, they got there by the stock market. It is easy money

For uber/lyft, I can only managed to save 10k after all the yearly expenses. With 10k savings I can't do anything in life. Mathematically, I need to work 10 years to save 100k. not good

My bad. I was going to stop yesterday but Bob seemed enthusiastic to keep the subject going.

My strategy is not for sale. The amount of time I've spent to research, study and to formulate a strategy last year is equivalent to a full time job. No one will give away their bread and butter or secret sauce esp rich people like billionaire and millionaires... maybe to my children in the future, that's about it..

I was reading some of the posts at a reddit subforum titled "road to become a millionaire". Some people took 4,5, 6, or 10 years to hit their first million. Everyone uses a different strategy to get there. That is a great subforum to join.

For uber, I can only managed to save 10k per year. If you do the math, it will take me 100 years to reach that goal. You get the point.
