Not me, but after that "lucrative" ride they gave me yesterday, I could care less. It's pretty bad when I have to login to Lyft because Uber is so slow, then they stick it to me harder than usual. Not logging in for a while. Maybe a long while.

both companies are making changes to the apps. This crap happens when something is changed without testing. Rapid development at its finest and we can expect other issues to come up.

I am willing to bet both companies are planning to shut down as each state locks down. I think they will make the move at the state level and not the city level.

Actually got the same message a few hours ago, 5 seconds later toggled to go online & it let me, checked rider app showed car just more "technology"

I swear if they stripped 90+% of the games & fraud in the app I don't fall for or pay attention to & just showed details per labor laws & our rights I'm pretty sure the app would run like a race car, & cancel rates would plummet while acceptence rates would rise

Makes zero sense cuz if I get there after calling/texting for whatever reason I decide to gamble & find out the ride doesn't pay a legal wage I'm cancelling, when I call or text I'm doing the same, the games don't work it's a waste of time for everyone the 96% failure rate, 10% acceptence rates, 50% cancel rates should be all the evidence they need to prove their technology & algo aren't worth crap

I got this, yesterday (Tuesday). I was wondering if I had been de-activated for too many cancellations, as I had recently shuffled a third party transport, but, an Uber ping came, so I took it. Once I had finished with the Uber job, I went back to Lyft, threw the switch and it came ON LINE, so I guessed that it was a temporary problem.
