Intact/Belair Announced Insurance for Uber

Good news for Alberta. Though it looks like the coverage is "contingent" during Period 1.

Interesting to know if Alberta insurance companies will still play nice if they become aware their client is an Uber driver.

I called Intact today to get details she said they dont know yet as no one has the training so they are not yet writing policies and have no information yet. They are waiting to see if Uber is going to approve it and buy it.

Did you talk to an agent in Alberta or Ontario...since it's not rolled out in Ontario and your from Toronto maybe that's why you got that answer.

It's hard to believe agents wouldn't have been trained and news went public....
