Looked a few threads, picking the car up today, has anyone got any recommendations on insurers not generally looking to do London runs if I can help it.
Seems to be a wealth of difference in prices, zego want £3400 and acorn were ridiculous!!
Can you also carry your NCB from your existing personal insurance? Thanks

Thanks - I have tried ringing uber to get a sensible answer - no joy ! As I understand it, you do some work for uber, therefore have to meet their insurance requirements. Do you use one of the 6/7 ? Uploading docs myself is not an issue.
I have had my car from new, only driver, one year old, no damage, no claims, no new points (got 3 1/1/24)

I use Acorn, I was in DCL since the move to Instadoc but they wanted to double my premium

I did use my daughters eTron to get the Uber EV money and got 28 day 3rd Party only from Inshur, which was a pisstake at £400 a month

The insurance companies in conjuNction with Uber have now rigged the market to fix the prices amongst themselves, any other belief is bullshit, its all rigged, government bodies paid off and industry regulators told to shut it, insurance company that are (SO CALLED) regulated are talking shit, rigging the market should be the first sign to see what fraudsters they are, that is all of them on that select list.

OH AND DO NOT BUY AN EV.
