You just can't fix this level of stupid... I heard there was an accident around lax causing major backup too.

What is ironic, I won't even work lax on a Sunday night for 2.5x surge.... yet these idiots go over there when it takes them 20 plus minutes to get to the pax (thats 20 plus minutes you are NOT GETTING PAID FOR) at BASE rates. Good God, you people are fricken beyond STUPID.

So true. It's incredible. I bet these guys are going to be willing to pickup for base on the Armageddon weekend of Thanksgiving.

The sad part is that I bet Uber and Lyft were charging pax a nice surge and PT to keep for themselves while these drivers donated over 30 minutes of free drive time plus however long they sat in the queue available for free.

Lyft has never given me a rematch with PT. For some reason, I always feel that Lyfts rematches are all of the ignored and canceled rides.

Not exaggerating at all. People who know me personally know I won't go over to lax between 8pm and 11pm on Sunday even for the 2.5x surge. During those hours, its going to take you at least 15 minutes to get over to the F rideshare pickup, if you get one of the other signs like C or D, its gonna take you longer... only to get a ride to MDR where you make less than $20. F that shit. Doesn't make any sense at all to me.

And lets not forget the fact driving over to the terminals during those times devours your "drive time" too. Sundays are long money making days, I am not wasting my time, inching over to the terminals for free. And since I regularly make over 5 bills on Sunday, my strategy seems to be working pretty well for me.

Then they get in the car and sit there for another 2 mins, while there's a million other cars trying to cram into the legally allowed rectangular pickup area, asking them if they want water, juice, hot tea, dolche cappuccino from the espresso machine they have installed in their car. . . ."don't worry. I'm here to do whatever you tell me to do."
