I found these pictures on Department of Labor Twitter Account I took screenshots to share with you. Federal $600 starts from April 5th in NY. Federal $600 is till july 31 2020. After that no one applies cant get it.

Ridley you qualify. Workers comp is not sufficient unemployment pay. Most probably you will get less state unemployment benefit with federal unemployment

The illustration appears to show that Pandemic Unemployment assistance is something you apply for if you are not eligible for UI benefits. Is there a separate sign up for people like us who might not typically qualify for standard unemployment but will be eligible through PUA?

They won't allow us to complete the application online, which is pathetic and ask us to call them
When you call, there are 3 things that will happen:

1) You will get a message from Verizon: Welcome to verizon wireless, your call can not be completed as dialed, please check the number and dial again (70%)
2) You will get a recording from Dept of Labor : We are sorry, we are experiencing an extremely high volume of calls at this time...yadayadayada (15%)
3) You will get to their automated menu where they make you listen to a bunch of options, input your SS# your pin and after wasting 5 min, they will hang up on you asking to call back later (5%)

Create a login account
Start a new claim
Enter all information submit
Now call 888-209-8124
Number will be busy all the time. Collect 1099 for uber and lyft submit through secure message. Go to option submit documents in drop down and done.

Hi guys has anything changed for the online fill up for unemployment. I used Uber as employer and provided the 9 digit tax if as found on my 1099. I just wanted to start the process and thought they will correct it if anything is wrong during the phone call.
So have they included any new language in there so we can categorize ourselves as independent workers.
