Increase the wait time to $1.00 a minute and you’ll see 99 percent of passengers waiting at the curb for you.it will incentify the passenger to request a ride when they are ready to leave for their destination instead of trying to request a ride while preparing themselves to leave while the driver is on the way. Any thoughts out there?

Anything that inconveniences/cost pax more money in the name of helping out us drivers is a non-starter for U/L. If anything, they'll start giving pax more time in wake of the Las Vegas incident because pax are being encouraged not to wait on the street so not advertise to kidnappers that they've ordered a ride.

Lol no. All that that do is create negative customer experience. Also easy to abuse with all these drivers hiding and refusing to open door. Gets pay $60/hr to wait?

I absolutely agree and have been complaining about this for three years. I spent 30+ minutes a day , waiting for pax to get in the car. Total waste of my time. Note: Pax is given 5 minutes to get in car. We are required to call before cancelling -- another 1-2 minutes . By the time they are finally in the car it is 8-10 minutes for a $6 trip. They called for the ride and should be walking toward the curb or there when the car arrives. The pax treats us like we are their personal limo service except we are paid pennies and Lyft/Uber encourage this attitude with absurd conditions like this one. Too often I will get a call to a restaurant or bar and sit ( illegally) on a busy street waiting for some Prima Dona while she says goodbye to people that she has spend the last 4 hours with. Then with a lot of drama she comes rushing out of the building looking for her ride.
