Getting an inactivity alert from Uber lol. I already haven't sent them in my re-newed insurance. In my short time driving I calculated about $10/hr after gas costs on a Friday or Saturday night and not even taking taxes or car depreciation into account. Now that gas is almost $3/gallon (for premium) and my car has been averaging around 20 mpg from keeping the ac ok high enough to fight the H-town heat I cannot possibly see how I can make a profit from .87/mile.

I feel sorry for the poor suckers who not only work for probably what works out to below minimum wage but also tear up their car in the process.

You can't.But The Pax love it! they don't have to walk 2 blocks in the heat, and I keep hearing "It's so affordable."
