Read the embedded article how Hillsorough PTC was in bed the local cab and black car servkces to keep Uber out of Tampa.
My personal thoughts on all of this are while Uber may not be above board, corruption in local goverment has and always will be troublesome. I have more confidence in Travis and his band of thieves than I do from government. At least Travis pays me (definately not enough), while politicians just steal from us under the pretense legality.

Yup. It's also like roaches scattering away when exposed to light.
Does anyone know how to get a staff job with a politician? SERIOUSLY! I've tried; but, never hired and very rarely interviewed; however, always asked to volunteer during campaigns. I quit doing that.
