Had a guy that wanted me to stop the app after not even half the ride and it was intimidating enough that I literally got scared that if I said no that I could be hurt.

He swore up and down that he'd take care of me, this and that.

We ended up going from his house to original destination which was a usps that was closed. Then he said ok let's go to this other post office but it was just a p o box annex.

Finally we go to a different post office where he takes 29 minutes.

We finally head back to his house and he wants to go through food drive through.

Dropped him and started the adjustment process. I was marking everything down when I had the chance. Fare went up $60 or so dollars.

I feel bad but then again I feel in danger more than anything.

I dunno man I was panicking. At that point the app was still going so I figured shit I'm making money.
Really?!?! Your in California right?? Aren't you sitting at like .10 a minute, which is .075 cents after Uber's cut. That's a whopping $2.75 for a half hour bro! What are you thinking?

Did you have him change the address in his app? If not, its possible you wont get paid the total trip amount.

I dont understand why you are panicked when the pax is no longer in your vehicle. Drive away. Unless he knows where you live, why are you scared?

If you're truly concerned, you do what you have to do to stay safe.

Everyone's right, if he was sketchy and got out, lock doors and drive away.

Uber will probably pay you whether he pays or not. They can see that you gave the trip especially if he ordered through his phone and had it on him. They track riders after the trip is ended. I hope you reported it as a serious incident also.

I agree with steveK2016 and RamzFanz .

If at anytime you feel unsafe, you have the option to end trip at a safe drop off location. In your case, you had the chance to end the trip when the pax exited your vehicle. Drive a block away after ending the trip, and report as a serious incident immediately.

And always, ALWAYS have the pax update the destination in their app after every stop.

Learn by your mistake, and don't let it happen again.
