This irritates me more than anything else after 1800 trips. I actually had to shut down one guy this morning who was stressing out because he thought that he could make it to the train station during rush hour in 10 minutes. He wanted me to take the main road, then realized it was packed, then wanted me to take the next exit.

"Look, me and Waze will take care of it, okay? Shit...."

We made it there well before his missed his train. Told him to express his gratitude through the tip option (in a nice way) if he really means it. No tip yet.

And now, you know why I have almost no patience for this types of pax.

Turn and say" Im behind on my rent".

He will exhibit the same amount of concern as you should display.

Its the polite method of conveying the thought " SUCKS TO BE YOU" to your pax.

Get the "running late" quite often. I am sure others do as well. My reply usually starts with "oh im sorry, what caused you to get a late start?" That puts it back on them, not you to be a hero.

whats the incentive to rush and possibly get in an accident or ticket? hell we make less money with short cuts and less time.
