I just noticed a vague drivers coming to Boston from different States especially from Florida with a driver's license from there. I heard that most don't have paper works: green card, US citizens...they just apply for Business ID number than they can have a driver's license without a SSN. I think Uber does not check if their drivers are legal to work in the USA.
Any ideas about what is happening.

Ask a Brazilian about it. There are thousands of them driving illegally.

Puerto Ricans are us citizens bud. not sure where the confusion came in on that one
I feel many Americans are still confused on that, and perhaps always will be.

I'm afraid that if you tell some America-born people that Haiti or Dominican Republic are U.S states or territories, they may believe it. Many seem woefully ignorant on local geography (including me) at times. Canada? Many Americans seem to think they have providences up there, not provinces.

Some educated Americans don't know where or what New England is, or which states are included; I've met them while giving rides (they don't even realize Connecticut is part of New England).

Who cares. They are here working, making a better life for themselves. It's not for some of you racist scumbags to assume they are illegal because they are Puerto Rican or drive with Florida plates. Again shows why most of you couldnt hold a real job. Keepin it classy UPN. Wouldnt expect much less in here

No you are wrong. But Uber has to hire whoever they can. If Uber actually only hired those who were really qualified we'd be making 75-100 per hour. So that isn't going happen.
Qualified? Kidding me right?? Aren't they trying driverless cars? The only qualification you need for this job is a phone and a license. Other than that a monkey could do this.
