does their fare change to UberX fare rather than UberPool fare? I remember when I was riding UberPool, I had asked the driver to drop me off a few blocks from my destination (to his benefit), and I got charged UberX fare instead of UberPool fare. Does Uber automatically change the fare or did the driver do something like press the button to indicate that the pax requested early dropoff?
If pax requested you to drop off early, do you just press the "Complete trip" button or are you supposed to select button to indicate that pax wanted early drop off? By selecting the early drop off button does it recalculate the fare? thanks

I only do early drop off if I am on a full pool and I have time to go to that screen to do this. Often the pax jump out while at a traffic light thinking it will be faster then all of a sudden the lane clears up and I am driving again.

I never look to see how any of my fares are calculated - has anybody ever done this on a consistent basis and been consistently happy?

Dropoff passenger option only for driver, Uber recalculated on their own. Uber can recalculate for their own financial benefit from the passenger side whenever they want. You can always get quality customer service from the Uber foreign country staff if you need assistance.

Just end the trip & carry on with yr day. Or continue driving to the dropoff without them if u want the extra 6 cents pool gives you each tenth of a mile.

Drop off early always, if they want me to take them further is a big NO. If you do they will think every driver is obligated.
