When the law force anyone to keep the dog in the leash because the law recognized many normal people doesn't like to be around animals. You have the right to chose to be around animals but you can Not force anyone to be the same as you otherwise you consider them not normal or have problems in their life. Do you feel lonely or something that is why you have dogs?

I think the fact that he started driving with the guy part way in his car was is biggest downfall ... Laughing on top of that just added fuel

Seeing eye dogs are not on a leash, they wear a special harness which tells the dog it is working and is responsible for its handler and you NEVER pet or approach the dog without the owners permission. When a seeing eye dog is on a leash it knows it is not working and can be approached like any other dog on a leash.

Those limo drivers aren't independent contractors

Yes, a lot of them are. Just as a lot of taxi drivers are independent contractors too. I'd say the majority are - I was when I drove a taxi many years ago. You really think taxi and limo companies give their workers employee benefits?

As an independent contractor and being self employed, we are not obligated to take the contract if we choose not to. His car, his office, his work space. He shouldn't of gotten arrested. Me personally, I have taken blind people with service dogs at no problem and will continue to.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. Just because uber doesn't give you health insurance and other benefits does not allow you to discriminate against who you drive. You're open for business, you must follow the laws. If someone with a service dog needs a ride, you can not turn them down because of it. Independent contractor or not.
