On what basis do you cancel? :eek:-o:

(PS cue this Kylie song for a great passive / aggressive reaction to gonna cancel jobs)

I cancel

If the rider called me and asked me where I am and he/she’s late

If I got a better job/ping like OLA rides, 35+ minutes Uber ride

If I got a non surge ride when I’m in the middle of surge area

If I feel that rider ratings is really bad

If I feel like it

When pax call saying - "I'm in a rush, late for work, how long till you get here".

I tell them "I'll be there as quick as possible - see you soon".

Then cancel.
I have this saved in my notes, I think from a previous post here, ready to SMS a running late PAX:

OK, I'll try my best to get there for you but please understand it's peak hour traffic, I may make it or I may fail you, but I'll try as my life is very complicated and so is this job of uber driving. I mean no disrespect if I cannot achieve a sufficient time to arrive because like my life some things I just can't control, and moving traffic is one of them. I do sympathise with your lateless, because it appears we could be in the same boat and this makes the job even more stressful knowing that not only I, but yourself may be in risk of being late, alas time will heal us and we can live knowing we tried even if it brings us shame. I'm on the way!

Also if the pickup spot is somehow not safe or vague
