Obviously he thinks he will have the monopoly of running autonomous fleets everywhere in the world. From what I can see he will at most be one of the players in the US but have no chance in most of the countries.

Anyone in sgp wanna take this up? Basically, uber is charging the rider more than they are declaring to the driver, on top of the 20% commish. In other words, drivers are scammed. Anyone wanna start a petition?
I don't mind but I don't know what should I do. Riders paying by card, the longest I have to wait is like 1 hour before I can see the last trip history is updated. -.-"

If you're found out, you will be terminated by uber. Best thing you can do is take a ride, then quietly ask your driver the amount he sees in his driver app. Do a social experiment. Of course, it'll cost money but nobody says proving a point is cheap or free.

Uber has reasons for doing that most of the time based on my brief observation. If you wanna mount a collective class suit, make sure u have sufficient grounds and understand your rights (limited) as a partner-driver before u do so.
That time someone posted a video too from US, this guy was doing a test on rider and driver app, the missing fees.

If you do a law suit you will lose your pants. Uber as the right to charge the riders one fare and pay you another fare. Each party see the fares quoted on their respective apps and decides whether to accept. Willing seller willing buyer.

Picked up an Uber driver at Ubi today. He is Mr Ong. Has a daughter who's interested to join Smove. Don't ask me why too!
He claims to hold a TDVL, was a cabby for 25 years and crossed over to Uber in 2014.
Then I asked the holy grail question: why did he jump ship? Man told me he is earning $8k by driving 8am to 9pm every day on Uber and takes home about $5k nett. He wouldn't be getting back into a cab anytime soon because business are bad.
I am not swayed.

It is true. You can make 5K to 5 digits the sky the limit by driving Uber.
Hence that is why I don't understand why are those Uber office workers like customer service or product development or accounting are still working for the company instead of driving for the company. Unless Uber pays them 5K onwards for their job which I don't reckon so. They must as well drive for Uber to start earning 5 digits.

It's Uber's algorithm,it doesn't always steal fares from the drivers but then again you won't know how many times it did cos you can't check immediately whether the trip tallies? Fool proof plan-just accept cash ONLY
