I updated the Partner App and then immediately after that, every time I'd pick-up a pax, a speedometer would also pop-up in the bottom lefthand corner on WAZE. It was making me madder and madder because I travel with the flow of traffic especially on the freeway and driving any slower, I feel, creates an unsafe condition for me and the other vehicles around me.
I was so mad; I was certain Uber was tracking my every move a la "big brother is watching you" type of a situation especially after recently being in a minor traffic accident, right?
Nope, it's a feature in WAZE and you can turn it off. Just thought I'd share if it happened to you, too.
