I asked him if he worked for Uber and he told me to mind my ****ing business. So I took a picture of him and his license plate and told him I was from Uber Quality Care and this is not how drivers should be acting.

He jumped out of the car, apologized to me and the little old lady and started helping her with her packages.

He then said "I'm sorry, I'm having a bad day"

I said you are going to have a lot of bad days after I deactivate you.

The same driver was still getting out of his car to help customers load stuff a month later out of fear of deactivation due to an Uber Quality Care incident.

Unfortunately, while getting out to load groceries in front of Walmart, he injured his back loading cases of water his customer had purchased.

The customer canceled and requested a new driver.

Today, this driver is unable to drive due to injuries and was let go from his fulltime job for not being able to work.

After seeking help from Uber, he has discovered that Uber provides no coverage for these additional services he choose to provide.

However, since he was led to believe this was required based on an interaction with an Uber Quality Care Associate, he plans to contact an attorney while also contending with the real possibility of homelessness in the near future.

If they are able bodied, then they can load their own damn bags. Only way I help is if they are disabled and can't do it themselves, because it's the right thing to do.
