I also gladly explain to them that I personally dont pick up low rated passengers. I never give out a 5* unless I get at least a $5.00........NO TIP =1*

I gladly pass on alot of request if I see passenger rating lower then a 4.8...Passengers lower then this usually never tip and are never outside waiting!

And, what is your current rating?

Good idea. I would lower that expectation to like a 4.6 rating on passengers, however.

I had a girl 4.87 get in my Uber last night. First thing she said was, I'm in a bad mood... I wanted to say, What does that have to do with me? But I bit my tongue...I really should have asked her, You know we rate you too, right?

Depends on the platform, somehow

UberX, XL pax -- decent ones are rated 4.75-4.89 for the most part.... >4.90 are noobs or nightmarish people

UberSelect - decent ones 4.51-4.85 , seems like the GOOD business types take a battering for not tipping on luggage, and the rich guys get a beating for sending Select's for their hookers or 19yo mistresses

Lyft LA - 4.9 almost always good, 5.0 usually good but sometimes noobs, 4.8 is low for LA, and 4.7 in LA are horrible horrible people (think on par with a 3.8 in the burbs)

Lyft OC - 4.8-4.9 only guarantees a decent experience, 5.0 is often the stuff of nightmares

Am I looking at this right?

I either rate 5 star or 1 star.

5 = I'd give them a ride again.

1=I wouldn't give them a ride again.

Is it true if I give rider 1 star I won't be matched with them again?

I have one lady that lives on outskirts and is normally $3 fare with no tip. I was going to give her 1 star yesterday but she was pleasant /nice so I didn't.

1 star to get never matched again only works on Lyft.

If you don't want to see them again, submit request through help to unmatch in future

My response to that sourpuss would've been " HAHA ME TOO"

I don't know in your market area, but here in Los Angeles, 1 star means nothing. We have to submit a request to be unpaired with the rider account.
What's the procedure for said request?

1, 2 *OR* 3 stars on Lyft.

In EITHER direction.

You guys should tell the customers that you can go back on the previous days rides and see who marked them down less than 5 stars, then go vandalize their house.

Passive aggressive threats will just get you deactivated.

Now, coming back to a select few addresses 6 months later.....

What about with people who only ever cancel?
I do that too. Going back to the cancelled trip in Trip & Fare Review > Rider Feedback > My rider was unpleasant > and state that the rider is a habitual canceller and to unpair me. I also request the rider be investigated for their habitual cancellations.
