I know nothing about delivery.

What do you know so far?
Could you rank them from your experience?
GrubHub, doordash, Postmates

Is Hyrecar the best option to get a Prius?

Is Amazon flex worth it?

Do I need sign up promo codes for any of these?
I saw Hyrecar had space to enter a coupon, also saw a doordash promo for $750.

Anyone doing weed delivery on pelican?

Message me your sign up code, if it's not ok to post on here.

Stay away from Hyre.

And weed delivery is probably your best bet, especially if you combine it with food and grocery delivery.

Postmates sucks they had me going on grocery store runs to half items available on a list, then dumped me because I couldn't "start delivery" once I picked up groceries because of their own app issue. Should of never accepted grocery store pings.
When I tried to sign up for Doordash early in this outbreak they had an automatic no drivers needed at this time message back.
Uber Eats is pretty basic it pings you from restaurants showing estimated earnings and time it might take for the full trip.
Seems pointless to do Amazon Flex $18-22 an hour when you can make that doing 3-4 deliveries an hour, instead of probably around 15 package deliveries an hour (don't know the actual number.) Imagine trying to deliver several boxes to an apartment complex with packed parking and curbs at this time. Already tough enough doing 1 food delivery to some places.

Signed up for Instacart couple weeks ago. Process was very easy, I got approved to work in 2 days.

They give you two types of work: delivery only or full service shopper.

Delivery only is pretty straight forward. You select from a list of available orders. You can see how much each order is paying out so you can cherry pick the easier ones. Go to the store to pick up the bags of grocery and deliver to destination.

Full service shopper is a lot more work with the same amount of pay as delivery. You actually have to go shop for the items listed on the order. It takes me an average of 2-3 mins to shop for one item. A lot of time the items are not in stock and you have to chat with the customer to find a similar replacement item. Pain in the ass looking for items. Then you have to wait in line to pay for everything and deliver to destination.

If an order had 30 items, expect to spend 60-90 mins at the store. Average pay for 30 items is about $20.

Doordash has been busy. Way better than Postmates. Grubhub is not accepting new drivers.

I thought they had "Shopper Only" people too? We had a couple orders, one was a Full Service and one a different person did the shopping and another the delivery.
Splitting it up is the most sensible way, cos the Shoppers don't have to own cars, get to know the store layout and what's available - and they can catch the virus. Drivers drive, drop off and keep a safe distance. My suggestion would be decline orders with alchohol (if they let u see that) cos for those u have to go close enough to recipient to take photo of their ID.

Yeah last week I got a ping to go to 7-Eleven for picking up 7 items for postmates..half of the items we're not available so I tried to text the customer but there was no way to do it until I completed the pickup.

Somehow by a miracle I figured it out and contacted the customer and told me The Replacements were okay so I went to check out but then it wanted a four digit PIN which I never have to do ever ever.

Now the worst part is the ending, after all of this nonsense, I canceled the trip, but the menu for cancellations is just for one thing and one thing only, "want to go offline" LOL and after you go offline.. they reprimand me by telling me that I would get less pings or deactivation. What a bunch of baloney.

And a couple of days ago I went to pick up from a restaurant but the restaurant was closed because of the virus, and again the same thing happened, there was no section input restaurant closed so I had to get reprimanded again LOL

Techies are f-ing idiots.

This is what happens when nerds with no measurable work experience are allowed to try and take over industries they know nothing about and never worked in.

Go watch YouTube videos filtered by recent videos to learn from others what's the positive and negative of the services you may be most interested in.

Instacart is most likely the winner and I'm doing it. People spending huge money in Costco and you get tipped off the % of spend. A $200 order = $20 tip plus instacart fee.

If you can do several batches Sam's club or Costco you can average $25-45 per hour so long as they are tipping well.

I get it, but for me it's better than sitting at the airport for 3 hours or roaming the streets for ubereats hoping to get a ping. This is guaranteed money as long as this lockdown is in place. That's at least a month or two months maybe more of work.

A friend of mine who is doing it right now says there's a Publix shopping store where they only do pickups, not full service and you got pretty much the same amount, all you do is pick up the groceries and deliver without having to shop for it. I'm going to try that tomorrow.

Yeah, they have shopper only too but i think those are actual hourly Instacart employees.

You need to pass some sort of exam to get alcohol orders.
