Somebody asked Dennis Rodman what he says when his wife accused him if cheating and he said nothing, you just deny it. I don't care if she walks in and the girl is right there, just lie and keep lying. I don't see no girl standing over there. What are you talking about?

Pimpin ain't easy

It is real simple...

The extra 0.2X payout got every metal driver on the road (including me).

But did anybody also notice traffic was lighter than usual? When it only takes 30 minutes to drive 10 miles from Venice to Beverly Hills, then you know people are out of town.

Uber thought it was going to be a very busy Monday with people returning from vacation. Uber incentivized Metal drivers with an extra 0.2X. The demand never materialized and the drivers were out as if it were a Saturday night.

I was lucky, I got a ride that took me close to home, made $24.00 in one hour and called it quits.

They use the extra .2x to keep the Monday surge down...I did 11 trips from 5pm to about 9:30p.. only made $67...almost all of the trips were shorties...no one going to far...

Maybe I'll be like KekeLo and finally get platinum again since I have an 11 trip head start..

That's sounds good.;)
Recruiting Uber fodder is where the cash is at, especially if you have even a small amount of internet marketing knowledge.

I have no problem in signing up Uber drivers, I just have a problem with the morons that actually drive for Uber, recruit new drivers and then come on here and complain about lack of pings.
I'm sure Travis is very proud of you.

Maybe you don't know yet, but it is now illegal in California for us to drive unaccompanied minors.
Used to be illegal to drive Uber, period...and might still be, depending on interpretation of the multitude of laws and regulations involved

We're bandit cabs skirting regulations via the use of an app. We're a regulatory oversight deemed legit by social media.

Its that vague space of potentially-maybe-near-legitimacy we share with real estate squatters and head shops

Did you ever experience the surges of Early 2016? Here's one just for taste on a Thursday at 9AM last February.

I remember. I was Ubering the surge and Lyfting when it wasn't surging.
I make more money on average now.

I know its slow, and Uber is skimming money every way they can. Its ridiculous to try to make more then minimum wage now. Its degrading, its time consuming, its costing money to drive, and Uber doesn't even care, and people know. Everyone ask. Everyone is aware of how bad they treat the drivers, and more switch over to lyft daily. Although they too have saturated the market with 312% new drivers in the last few months
