No. It's because 99% of the people on this forum have taken money to refer other drivers and now there are ten drivers to every request. Those same people then come on here and complain that there are no pings. It's called battered wife syndrome: No matter how little they earn, or how many times Uber rip them off, or how may times Uber bribe them with $500 tso they can have less pings, they continue to drive. It's like a turkey accepting extra food on the condition he's willing to work on Thanksgiving Day.

It's actually quite sad, just like the battered wife who tells her kids she got her black eye from walking into the bathroom door.

Hilarious too, this forum should be listed under comedy in a forum index.

Uber has been advertising for drivers on ION television network every day and night for weeks.

I was thinking uber caps on how much money we make. Been waiting over 10minutes each trip. Didn't have this issue all of the past 2 weeks

That would be the action of an EMPLOYER wouldn't it ?

And offering sign up incentives to every driver who drives fir them via email and app since 2009.

I have referred no one yet.

Even drove people to buy cars to Uber with,but didn't know my referral number.

Recruit them if you can and grab the $$$. The commercials will anyway.

Started 2 hrs later than usual and quit 4 hrs earlier than usual. That accounts to 12 trips more at $10 a trip average minimum which would have been at least another $120 by 9pm.

No boost, no surge anymore.
Just a flood of drivers.
95°+ heat and 90% humidity.
Not good for tourists either.
