Yea. Had a run out to Pasadena, then got a stacked ping as I was pulling into destination. Turned out she was going deeper into Pasadena, and she wanted me to go the long way "because I've got to make some calls". Logged off, drove back into town, and nothing for about 30 minutes. Finally my headache won and I decided to go home.

No. It's because 99% of the people on this forum have taken money to refer other drivers and now there are ten drivers to every request. Those same people then come on here and complain that there are no pings. It's called battered wife syndrome: No matter how little they earn, or how many times Uber rip them off, or how may times Uber bribe them with $500 tso they can have less pings, they continue to drive. It's like a turkey accepting extra food on the condition he's willing to work on Thanksgiving Day.

It's actually quite sad, just like the battered wife who tells her kids she got her black eye from walking into the bathroom door.

Hilarious too, this forum should be listed under comedy in a forum index.

Yeah but by next month uber will hire another 50k drivers so either way it will only get slower from here on out any one and everyone from the hood will be driving uber lmao so ther will be less demand because they are always hiring more and more drivers it doesn't stop

I just traversed the length of the basin on Venice Blvd, west to east, then through downtown as a silver driver and didn't get a single ping. Can we PLEASE put the ping prioritization theory to rest?

I was thinking uber caps on how much money we make. Been waiting over 10minutes each trip. Didn't have this issue all of the past 2 weeks

Yep. Slow day. Once the clock hits 10 I'm gonna get some rest. Have a test at the end of the month and a trip to Colombia in August.

Don't worry the referral was a friend in Boston.
