I’ve been tempted to ask some of the customers that don’t tip if they’d like to see what I made on the delivery. Especially the ones that are under 10 minutes from the restaurant.

I think it will be a lot of long trips to start off with. Not enough drivers to cover territory.

Uber needs to add more locations also or its not going to be worth my time.

I still haven't gotten a ping for uber eats. But they are the new guys and they do have to compete with grubhub, waitr, and bitesquad.

Uber wants ubereats to succeed. They may try to buy out the little guys before going public.

Saturday night rain for the long weekend and I kept getting these BS requests. I swear I must have rejected like 12 or so before I got a local one. How Uber thinks I'd be willing to drive 30 minutes in to town for a $5 delivery is beyond my comprehension.

28 min to pickup...haha yeah no...I barely tolerate 15 min pickups, and that's really only because my geographic area is spread out such that there are plenty of spots 15 min away from where all the UE restaurants are, and if I don't accept, I'd still have to drive 10 min to get 5 min pickups...

Normally yes, but that's not always the case. 1st of all I had to stay in the suburbs because my real job needed me to go in to work for a few minutes shortly after these requests came in.

2nd of all, the delivery radius shortened to literally across the street from the restaurants due to the rain and lack of drivers (you can see this by opening up the UberEATS app). That means all those requests were for me to drive in town and get paid minimum fare. No thanks.
