the wife and kids were sick,,, so I thought ,why the hell was i gonna stay home and get sick?
1st i drove to west hampton and did uber eats as well cause they were paying 2.0x for uber eats west hampton.
nothing at all for over 1.5 hours, then drove to the bordie barn in Hampton bays,,,nothing, then to south Hampton MacDonalds for a late 3pm lunch.,,stayed over an hour,,,nothing
as i was eating i got a ping 9 minutes away.
I took it and it was a 1st time uber customer from the city (Manhattan for you non long island folks) he was like 55 and clueless as to how to work the app,,,his pick up address was 5 houses away and his drop off location was his pickup address,lol
he got a free uber ride coupon and wanted me to double check in HIS phone if he was not charged
so it was actually kind of cool to walk a new rider through the app at the end of the ride.
I have never used uber so i clueless as to the passenger app
He then says,,,you dont have to tip in uber,,,right?
I said,,,"oh no they changed that,,,,then came up the tip screen,,,he hit $5 bucks then asked like 7 more questions.
got 2 more $5 minute drives for the bare minimum for local workers,
then i hit montauk,,,yes the music festival was pretty big but everyone had their own car, no train or bus people.
i stayed for almost 3 hours it was such a nice day,,,went to the light house,,,i actually walked around the surf lodge,,,seeing that i dropped off many a time last year, i wanted to check it out,,,,,i told the workers i was an event planner,,,lol
But NOT ONE PING in 3 hours
Then I left and not 1 ping from montauk to shirley
I made $51 bucks in 8 hours,,,but hey,,,i didnt get sick from the wife and kids
