Hi All,
For all of u drivers who are asking and wondering what's going on business wise on the streets, I drive uber X/ ubereats and veyo medical transportation 6 days a week.
Now I can only speak for myself but what I've done is drive veyo early in mornings from 4am to about 730am or so. I shut down and go pick up a client of mine and take them to/from work 6 days a week. Then I go home and take a 2 hour nap, get back up, take my step daughter to work and then start doing both uber x /ubereats apps because I've got both apps turned on and I can pick/choose which one is working and what's not.
Now in my opinion, Postmates is a last resort app because to me, they don't pay as much for deliveries as uber eats does and I've always gotta pull out the black credit card to pay for stuff as to uber eats, u verify and go. Don't get me wrong but postmates is good for cashing out your deliveries at the end of the day and getting money into your account in about 4 hours. With ubereats, I'm getting much better tips than postmates.
I used to drive for Door dash but they terminated for no reason and as a driver, under no circumstances, can a driver accept any cash tips from a customer and in my opinion, that's bull****!!!
So in summary, y'all have an idea of what I do out on the streets and I'm not a doctor at all..I take care of my health the best way I can and I go see my family doctor if I don't feel right. But for me, I can't sit around the house or I get bored extremely fast and drive my family nuts. I gotta work and I've gotta pay my expenses or I'll be in trouble with my rent fast. Failure is not an option for me.
I'm determined and persevere to get thru this pandemic and in my opinion, I treat this thing like if I have a very bad cold...take Nyquil or theraflu, take a very hot shower as hot as I can take it and sweat the virus out of my body and rest for 24 hours. This has been the way I've been trained in the military for 26 years and I continue the same practices today. Like I've said before, I can only speak for myself.
I must push and drive on and do what I must to take care of my monthly expenses. Trust me, I've got the greatest respect for those individuals that have lost their jobs or worse, lost their lives/loved ones due to this B.S. virus
Thanks for reading.
Respectfully,
Bounty
