Assuming you are talking to the OP since you didn't reply to any other poster.

There is a way to get priority pings over others. It has nothing to do with medals or hourly. I would share, just not feeling appreciated at this point, so the rest of you rocket scientist can figure it out for yourselves.

Doesn't really matter if it's you, OP, or anyone else that wants to test this theory.

I bet if I stood right next to you and you pinged me on X, I would get it and I don't even drive X. I would dust off the old profile and log into X but just for this experiment. Let me know when you have time. I will easily disprove this theory. I may even share the reason why, but only if you are nice.
