How often do pax down rate you because you down rated them?

i am not sure how many of them actually check their rating, but i am sure many do, which leads me to be forced to give almost all of them 5 stars when they don't deserve it, i do that because i don't want them to retaliate by down rating me. in out market pax are very picky and think they are too good to give 5 stars.

i have 4.84 with uber and 4.72 with lyft, Lyft pax here are a nightmare and often give 4 stars thinking they are doing you a favor.

in rare circumstances i give 1 stars (when it is very deserved) but 95% of the time i give them 5 fearing retaliation and i don't want my rating to suffer. let me know about your experience with this.

Here is a list of Important concerns

getting Robbed !!!
getting in a wreck and uber not covering your repairs.
people puking in your car.
getting a flat.
getting hit by a drunk driver and getting killed ( your family will love the fact will got killed for 90 cents a mile !!!)
Funeral expenses.
deprecation of your car ( 1000 mile a week is not good for resale value)
sitting in your car for 4 hours and making $31.23.
getting a ticket.
sitting in traffic ! FUN !
picking up people with groceries at Walmart for $3.04 .
spending hours getting .78 cent toll reimbursed

Anything else I forgot ???

I agree with you, it's just that the rating is shoved into my face on the app and I like to keep it high, even pax will treat you worse if your rating is low.

Surge-payers and tippers get 5 stars. 4 or fewer for everyone else.

Can LYFT pax check their rating? If so, HOW? I have not found the hidden button yet!

I know UBER pax can check theirs easily....no email to support required. Can LYFT pax do the same somehow?

You are being a sucker you have a 4.84 that's plenty high. Either rate them high or dont. But most people don't check their rating, some do but oh well.

If you are that insecure about it you can give them a 5 and change their rating later but why go thru all that trouble?

Not really insecure about it, I just simply don't want my rating to suffer that's all, but yes I agree that 4.84 is good. My whole question was whether anyone has experienced retaliation. Thanks for sharing your opinion though.
