Sorry to bring you bad news but I had two jobs- one full time and one part-time. Because of coronavirus I lost my part time job. The link above just sends you to a regular unemployment website. I filed claim 2 days ago and they have nothing about COVID-19 when you fill out unemployment. They do have a section where they ask if you lost job because of a disaster such as fire or earthquake. There is nothing about COVID-19 anywhere there. Phone number for their office does not take any calls.
The only reason I filled out a claim is so I get denied and hopefully finally talk to a person.

They talk about it in the news - you supposedly can get help even if your hours are cut. Reality is different. Go ahead and try to file a claim online but do not submit.

Yeah, I don't think Uber drivers would qualify. I don't know.

After the final vote on the bill in the house is passed then the link will be more helpful. You can also may qualify for a small business loan if you word it properly and uber was your only source of income. But it's not final yet, the wording that is.

Yea I think full time drivers will qualify but there is still a lot of mud that needs to be cleared. Like if you do file for "unemployment" for uber does that mean you can't do uber anymore or any gig employment. I'm definitely not making 600 a week from uber right now but I am making more than that from uber/lyft/Postmates. So unemployment wouldn't make sense unless I want to stay at home and collect. I'm sure with the website issue they are overwhelmed with making the necessary changes to include "gig Job workers". Who knows. One day at a time right now.

You Will find a sub category after national disaster that should read something to the effect of "national health epidemic"
