I only got the ride duration heads up for 2 days - then it disappeared.
Reported to Uber, and they suggested logging off/reinstalling app/ logging back in.
Did that; made no difference.
During the beta, they showed duration *AND* direction.
This is the only UberPro feature that would benefit me - the rest is pure fluff ?
The beta version also had an additional payout of 2% of fares.
The released version eliminated that as well.

I did some testing. Big surprise, Pool still sucks. You may see duration of the first request but there’s no information regarding the auto adds. So a 10 minute request can still become an hour long trip. There’s very much a sense of scam also as with the worst Pool adds they tend to hit so quickly that when you’ve accepted one Pool you don’t even have time to stop new requests before 2 more adds hit your trip. I suspect the algorithm lets the worst requests go unfilled until a driver can be perfectly shafted with at least one seemingly safe starter request can be sent. It honestly makes not accepting Pool even more sensible now.

Some won't get the name bc those stamp promotions were regional critters. Ex: Midwest rivals were Green Stamps & Gold Bond stamps.
Others won't recognize the category as the precursors to their current grocery store loyalty card.

I cancelled a pile Saturday. Out of about 20 Pool tests, 4 were traffic & end point disasters. Three rigged across the Bay Bridge and one was down by Linda Mar in Pacifica. That one freaked me a tad as I was sitting with my dog on the hill at Dolores Park and realized the gal was sitting on a blanket about 10 feet away talking to me on the phone.

i really like the ride duration! this helps out a lot especially during surge where you don't want to go too far away

They were supposed to be rolling out ride "direction" as well …...
It was included in the beta version.
Hopefully, it will be included soon.

This really pisses me off. F'ing tech companies. They tell us one thing, and then deliver another. I was really psyched about getting direction info based upon their early emails. Now, fuggedabowdit!
