I have my iphone 7 mounted on the dash so everytime someone text messages me or sends a facebook message, a preview of the images and message are on display for all my riders to see and read. It also blocks the navigation app while I'm in a trip.

This looks unprofessional and is an invasion of privacy.Is there a way to turn off these notifications with previews?

Do not disturb mode, the little Moon icon on the control center should do it. Or go to settings, notifications, and disable all, or you could go into notifications and manually disable certain ones.

Thanks i'll try this. It would be nice to set a rule i.e: if uber app is online, do not distrurb.

Does putting do not disturb on turn off trip request sounds?

If possible, you should have separate phones for work and personal. Otherwise, you may want different ring tones for family, friends and work numbers.
