1. Have something appropriate to defend yourself if things get out of hand. Pepper spray inside a vehicle is not a great option because it goes everywhere.
2. Immediately file a report with Uber, IMMEDIATELY!!. Their approach to handling disputes seems to center around whoever reports first.
3. Warn and then end rides when you have to and accept that you are going to get an undeserved 1 star. It doesn't really matter as long a you are over 4.7 or so. Just make sure you end it in a well lit place with other people around.
