I'm back to rock your world again.

First, Lyft AM rush is full of 100% everywhere... your welcome

Now the next thing to rock your world.... I actually like Uber Pool...... Why because unlike Lyft Line you get paid per passenger. You basically get paid double or even triple for the same route (more like 80% or so since its a slightly lower per mile and per minute charge) BUT YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PEOPLE PAYING. Am I missing something obvious?

Nope. Wrong. Not being confrontational but that's not how Pool works.

UBER collects three separate fares. YOU collect time and mileage as if all three trips were one long ride. Previous posts show people getting payout of $1.37 for one segment of a Pool trip.

Pool used to be helpful in the Platinum Metals days. It can be useful if you're hitting Quest or other incentives requiring trip counts. Pool pays slightly less per minute and mile as well.

Your ratings suffer as well. Pool passengers are generally a rung down on the social ladder, and if someone has a bad Pool experience they don't blame Uber they blame you with a lower rating.

I did see on the L.A. Boards that if you pick up a surging Pool, the subsequent rides added are all at the initial surge rate i.e. initial ping is 2.5X surge, every other Pool rider is also 2.5X, even if they're paying base rate. That may be L.A. specific. Anyone know if that's also the case here? I would inquire with Rohit and the gang but they'd just tell me to uninstall and reinstall the app.

If we got paid per Pool passenger, three separate fares for Pool I'd be all over it. The only one that likes Pool is Uber.

You have the intelligence of a pile of rocks. Enjoy the $1.85 payout for driving someone 30 minutes.
