This could be the answer to the cap on PH driver numbers many have asked for. How many drivers do you think they will lose and how much more are we going to earn when they put the rates up?

I want to send a clear message to every European resident living in London - you are very welcome here. As a city, we are grateful for the enormous contribution you make, and that will not change as a result of this referendum.
There are nearly one million European citizens living in London today, and they bring huge benefits to our city - working hard, paying taxes, working in our public services and contributing to our civic and cultural life.
We all have a responsibility to now seek to heal the divisions that have emerged throughout this campaign - and to focus on what unites us, rather than that which divides us.

Nothing will change for foreign drivers right now. DC will resign in October and only his successor will announce the new measures. In terms of Britain leaving the EU we all need to understand it is a lengthy process that will take 2-3 years and any dramatic changes are highly unlikely to be seen in the next year or so. Uber will carry on recruiting, black can drivers will keep on moaning, night tube will start 19th August. Chill peeps, world does not stop or end any time soon. Keep calm and wait for ping.

Oh yes...things will change. The EU commission has warned members that any regulation of sharing economy companies must first be cleared in Brussels. The commission had warned the French about banning Uber Pop. With the right amount of violence and intimidation of Uber drivers in and around London and an upcoming elections could create the incentives to make Uber, Airbnb, Google and Amazon to finally begin to pay taxes.

It will slow Uber's recruitment little bit over time, it's true it will take us few years to come out of eu completly.
But this could also trigger the mad rush before the door is bolted.

Fact is uber will never be short of new drivers regardless of brexit.

There will still be immigration from Europe.

But it won't be continual and mainly low skilled workers.

Senior figures in the building industry think Brexit could well be a good thing as it will encourage training of UK residents for jobs that are being filled by workers from Europe.

maybe there will be hope for the descendants of benefit street chavs finally, with some training and a hard working job might set them on the right path to being respectable members of society and break the cycle they are currently stuck in with poor education and a life of benefits.

although nothing stopping them from doing that already...

Article 50 takes a maximum of 2 years unless every other country agrees to an extension to that timescale.
