All drivers who are on 20% commission in 2017 will notice their rating inexplicably drop. Evil UberCorp will be rigging the stats to deactivate you all, then after you plead for reinstatement they sign you up again at the 25% fee.

Would like to know if there are any drivers still on the 20% commission rate out there?

If it's true that only 4% remain after 1 year of driving then I'm guessing there's only a handful of ants on 20%.

Honestly 25% or 1/4 is too much for the service Uber provide.

If uber really did have the goal to make it cheaper than a bus then why are they so greedy? They could pass on cuts to the riders and apparently that would increase demand for uber.

Rating is still holding too, actually, its climbed in the past 6 weeks..

That's why I drive at 6am. Cover the same distance in half the time. Airport trips can be up to 70% faster than during the day.

I am surprised by the results of the poll. 22 votes so far and 50/50.

I was under the impression that only a couple of drivers are on 20%. Everyone makes it sound like most drivers only last a few months but the result indicates that half the people are sticking around for a year or more. maybe this forum just attracts the more experienced drivers?

I think you could be right. Maybe the others are talking on Facebook groups or give up before they find this forum.
