With all this being said, what is the the lowest rate per mile and per minute will you go before you quit Uber?
I actually deactivatef both uber and lyfy yesterday. I work the gig economy for extra money. While yes i can make 100 withride share in about 5 to 7 hours i have noticed im driving almost 110 miles to do so....... when i deliver food i can usually count on about 80 if i put in 5 hours, but im only driving average 40 miles to do so. Without carrying on pointless conversations washing and vacuming my car and dealing with rude atitudes, and carrying these stupid licenses and displaying them in my car. My last ride was an older man with a walker. His odor filled my car, i had to lug his walker in and out. He left a half smoked cigareetle on my seat. It took him 5 minutes to get in the car 5 minutes to exit the car, i couldnt pick anyone else up because the car needed to air out. All this for 4.20......... ridiculous ill bring some kid subway and drive 2 miles for 8 bucks instead.. never again 800 rides on uber and over 2300 on lyft, but im done. Im glad it works out for some of you, but im not having my kids sit after a guy like that ever again. If someones gonna make a mess out of my 30k car its gonna be someone i carr about.

I agree with you. When I started here in Vegas 72 cents per mile was great, but the drop to 60 cents was harsh. I do not think I could continue with anything less. You should see the looks on peoples faces when I hold the trunk of my SUV and not loading their luggage. Can't wait to see what happens when the IPO goes live.Any rate cut will do the trick.
Sounds like the suburbs. If you are driving 1 mile for every dollar earned you are doing it wrong. Not my fault, completion is cruel to some , as I hear a lot on this forum, 1 down , 20 k to goI actually deactivatef both uber and lyfy yesterday. I work the gig economy for extra money. Dd has gotten better with extra pay and bonus pay i did 88 with them today, working from the houseJust wondering as PM like you mentioned pays 5 bucks plus tips. If tips are good then PM is the way to go. Tried to get on with GH. Haven't done DD for a year due to them stealing your tips and they send you all over. I found that PM is in Midland/Odessa so we will try em out.
