- realized that they are paying to drive

eg. Got a 21 minute drive only to drive rider 2 miles... (Your time and miles... (21min*.18 + 10mile*1.10 ) - (your pay.... 4min*.18 + 2mile*1.10 + .18*21 - 25%)

Depends on how much money new driver has in bank. If no money in bank they last until car breaks down fully or becomes ineligible. New drivers are notoriously stupid because they think they can make money in a hoopty. Most can not. The few hustlers and smart guys who crack into a nitche keep going

On a side note: I have lived in PDX for a job for quite sometime and never used Uber there though. So how is Ubering in that part of NW like? Long rides? Tips? Entitiled paxes? PDX pickup dropoffs? And isn't Vancouver in Washington? SMH?
