I've been driving for over 3 years on and off, my car finally reached its limit 190K with lots of repairs needed to make it last that little bit longer I decided to rent instead and sell the car.
Decided to go with Ridelender, all good was very easy and car was new, that was on Tuesday 2nd March
Loaded docs straight away:
DIDI 24hr activated
OLA 72hr activated
UBER still not activated waiting for insurance doc to be cleared and now they saying my PTV doc is invalid?
Is this normal? 7 days and ongoing! i'm paying rental and earning little or no money. Have called support everyday i've now given up is it time to end this ride-share crap we all have to deal with!

yeah had same problem with thrifty... eventually solved by insisting thrifty resend their spreadsheet to Uber and followed up with a call to Uber using that driver line..turns out thrifty had put the rego year date one year earlier than actual ...anyways it seems these companies fax or email details to Uber

I was renting from RideLender in Perth (I return the car today).

I think renting is the way to go - they cover all the expenses except the fuel.

But I paid rent on the car for two weeks before I got approved by Uber to drive.
