Im quite confused as to how surge on pool work. If you pick a pool ride with 1.6 surge does it apply to all the rides being added to that pool(like Lyft line) or is it just the first one?
Same thing with boost????

Last time I checked surge only applies based on the area that has surge/boost where you picked up the passenger in. It does not apply to all your passengers that you picked up on Pool as the location of where you picked up each passenger maybe different (surge or non surge zones)

How often or what percentage of your requests from Lyft, are Lyft Line?
5% tops.

I've only done about a dozen LINE rides since the service launched and 1/3 of those were 'unmatched.' Two were cancels ($5 if it is the first PAX)

However, I've done at 3 spectacular $50+ Lines during 100% prime time surges, as long as the LINE keeps adding passengers, everything gives driver full PT bonus.

You are guaranteed to have the first surge rate on any subsequent pool matches. If the next match is higher then you get that for that match.
it used to be like that but not anymore. Each rider gets charged the boost or surge for the time and area they got picked up in. Uber overcharges them howevet they choose though....

Lyft line was particularly good downtown. Always matches atleast one rider. I don't drive Lyft anymore so don't know what's going on with them now.
I had to no-show one extra lyft pickup... was around it was past englington and yonge... pax wasnt at the curb, I'm not stopping, and for sure not circling around in that area.

Lyft doesn’t offer any PZ anymore which means no driving for them. The moment they offer PZ I would think about it. All they have now is the 4 rides 24$ every morning and evening. It is still better than Uber quest though.

So do you drive Lyft for Streaks since there are No PZ ?

I had a great lyft friday aft... 80%pz vs uber's 1.3x boost, also lyft had pz from 3pm till 8pm, vs uber's 5pm to 6pm.... still had both open though. Overall was good afternoon between both platforms as uber was surging high, got one at 2.7x.
Drove a Hat from College St to Lawrence Park on Uber surge 2.2X Friday rush hour.

You have no problem having both apps on ? Uber always takes me offline.
