How is it starting around 5 AM in the morning? Does one get rides around 5 AM and 6 AM?

It is ultra slow for early mornings, you barely get pings! Not enough riders. Just take some extra hours of rest.

I start at 3:30am I don't get any pings after an hour. I enjoyed watching videos while waiting.

It's a bit too early. Starting at 9 am and working till 9 PM is the best schedule
i have never driven at that time, but more the opposite on thursday to saturday i drive 10 - 3, sometimes that has stretched me until 4 am (and i had to turn off because i wanted to go home and sleep)
there are a lot of people on here who will not tell you the truth, as you are competition to them
the best schedule it'S to get a real job with benifits

Never tried 4 am on a weekday. 4 am on Saturday night usually has some business in DT.

I suggest you wake up one day and try different times for yourself. Nobody here is going to spoon feed you information. Not trying to be rude, but that's just the way it is.

I'm gonna break the mold. King and Portland street is the best location in Toronto by far. Make sure you park on King to get the best trips.

Some days it'll be good and other days you might be waiting for an hour to get a ping. No two people's experiences are the same, so if early mornings are good for one driver it might not be for the other.
Early mornings is when you'll get the airport runs mostly. Try everyday for couple of weeks and you'll see which days will work for you.
I know some drivers who work split shifts. 1st shift is from 5-9/10 am and 2nd from 4/5/6 pm - 9/10 pm, about 8 to 9 hours a day.
