It may not make sense for youVirtually 50 cents per mile, not paid for 1.2 hrs on the road with all the risks it implies.
Somebody is proud of this?Virtually 50 cents per mile, not paid for 1.2 hrs on the road with all the risks it implies.
You don't give up, do you?If your not making +$1 per odometer mile driving rideshare it's not worth it unless one was already going that way anyway.
Certainly 50 cents a mile one way qualifies, just barely covers vehicle expenses, gas, tires and maintenance.
15 cents a mile to replace the vehicle at 300,000 miles ($45,000)
10 cents a mile for taxes.
25 cents a mile makes one about $20,000 a year clear.
Have you figured out the tax benefits of deducting the car if it's your only income? If your not making +$1 per odometer mile driving rideshare it's not worth it unless one was already going that way anyway.

When you make less than the standard mileage rate it's irrelevant.Have you figured out the tax benefits of deducting the car if it's your only income?
Because people shut Lyft off as their offers were beyond unreasonable. They've used bonuses and stuff to get people back online.I drive in Tampa. This started about a week and a half to two weeks ago, out of nowhere.
I am wondering if this is their way of taking their money back after having all-day $10-plus surges a couple weeks back due to Gasparilla?
I mean I am getting offers that I wouldn’t take even if they were triple in some instances!
What’s also odd is that now the Lyft offers I am getting, which have typically been putrid, are coming in a lot higher than usual and are on par with where Uber was before this recent pay slash.
